I have owned this car for over a year and purchased for £4,950 and cannot justify spending anymore on this car.
MMI infotainment is not working, suspected module/fuse – Quoted £350 including fitting for Apple car play unit replacing original system or can be repaired by a Car electrician quoted £500 for Job.
This car has been stood for quite a while and due to the time it has been stood I would recommend a new battery for this car. There are 2 batteries in this vehicle – I would replace both of them as this leads me into the final problem being the soft top mechanism. This has stopped working as the battery in the rear does not have enough voltage to power the roof (As explained by my mechanic) Audi system states ‘Soft top cannot be used’ – Aswell as replacing the battery I have been advised that fuse in the boot which is 30 Amp will need to be replaced which controls the soft top and a 5 amp on the passenger side which controls the MMI/Infotainment
Sidenote – The roof can be open manually if needed.
