Only selling due to office moving which means I'm not doing the mileage. Bought this late last year needing a bit of work and with a number of issues.
MOT due 19/06/2024. If I get chance over the next week, I'll try and get it booked in for an MOT.

Only selling due to office moving which means I’m not doing the mileage. Bought this late last year needing a bit of work and with a number of issues.
MOT due 19/06/2024. If I get chance over the next week, I’ll try and get it booked in for an MOT.
Since January this year, I’ve done the following:
– Discs and pads all round
– O/S/R caliper and motor
– N/S headlight control module for self leveling
– both front lower track control arms
– handbrake control module
– fixed drivers door pocket (common problem!)
– oil, filter, air filter, pollen filter and fuel filter (Feb 2024)
– lowered 20mm via VCDS
– top part of dash carbon wrapped. Not got round to doing the rest as I ran out of wrap but I now have more to finish it off that can go with the car
– Invery AMI bluetooth interface for music from phone
Current issues:
– parking brake warning on dash. Parking brake still works. After diagnosing (and swapping the module!!) I’ve traced the issue to a break in one of the wires. The A8 has 4 wires out the parking brake motor each side. A postive, negative (power to engage motor) and two that measure the turns of the motor to measure the pad thickness. Unlike the A6, the pads don’t have wear indicators and a separate loom. I was going to make a repair loom for the two wires but not got round to it.
– N/S/R door doesn’t unlock with central locking. Have to open from inside once unlocked
– touch buttons only work on the rear doors. Common issue but never bothered me as I just use handle to unlock (keyless entry and start) and then use the O/S/R door touch button to lock it or the key
Very clean inside (as per pics) and out. Few marks on bumpers as you’d expect. It is 15 years old!
Drives really well. Proper smooth and quiet but has enough poke in sport mode.
Will definitely miss it as it’s a great comfy cruiser but can’t warrant keeping it as I no longer do the miles.
