It has recently failed its mot on the below ( see bottom ).
It is a runner and drives well – no issues with clutch, gear box or engine.
Warning lights are likely because it has been stood over the winter. Last year I cleared them when I started driving it daily and had no problems again until this year when it had been under a cover and was unwrapped for a run at an MOT.
As i said, starts ( at the moment with a booster pack as been stood ) drove fine down to the garage and back and all of the issues that make for an mot are relatively mechanical items.
I have polished out the headlights and did get a quote from an audi specialist to have all work done for mot and it cam to £795.
Most of it could be done with someone with basic skills.
Engine is good and looks great but inside has gotten a little tatty.
Convertible hood only opens manually but still stows away fine and warning light for roof goes out at that point.
Central locking doesn’t work or boot pop.
Is a nice little car in the summer months but rear glass of and roof leaks so I keep it covered in winter. ( cover included ).
Needs a little tlc and will make a great cheap run around.
Mot expired and I am about to declare SORN and cancel insurance so cannot be test driven and will need low loaded away unless you insure it and book an appointment at a MOT centre to do the work and MOT on day of collection to cover yourself legally.
Shame to not just do it myself but money is short and I have another vehicle. I also bought this as a more efficient way to get back and forth from a regular job i had 15 miles away to save me taking my XC but I dont work there any longer.
Its surplus to my needs and ready funds are low.
