I have owned this A8 for over 10 years, might be a bit longer. Bought the car with 164,000 miles on it from a dealer and was so impressed I bought it. It have been a joy to own and pretty much faultless all these years. Its still drives really nice. No knocks or rattles, goes like the clappers too. My wife had a accident in Dec 2023 where someone pulled out on her, hence the front drivers…

It have been a joy to own and pretty much faultless all these years. Its still drives really nice. No knocks or rattles, goes like the clappers too. My wife had a accident in Dec 2023 where someone pulled out on her, hence the front drivers corner damage. The car was a write off due to repair cost of a bumper and paint. Still useable car though and allowed to be driven on the road. I replaced this car with a light Green A8 which is also on now but both cars are going to make way for a new one.
Good points
– Car cleans up pretty well. would benifit from a cut polish as I have never done it. Photos show the car in its worst state, I have not cleaned the interior at all for the photos but when done it all looks pretty nice.- It drives really smooth and pulls like a train, not rattles or anything, just the same as it was 10 yrs ago.- Bose stereo, all working and sounds amazing-New rear discs, pads and calipers within the last 12 months.-Engine oil and filters have been changed every year since I have owned it.-All electrics work as they should unless listed below-has a spare alloy and tire-All tires have atleast 50% life on-Front discs and pads are also in good shape-Air con blows nice and cold-Heated seats are the best I have ever had.
Bad points-Missing rear brake light as needed it for the green audi I am selling-Front damage to bumper. (note the scratches on the front wing next to he bumper should buff out, they are not deep at all)-Rear parking sensors missing, (have been since I bought the car)-Check engine light is on and has been since I bought the car. Diagnostics says it needs a new left bank intake manifold sensor. It doesnt affect the way the car drives and never has.-Air suspension works but a bit slow to switch between settings. I just leave it in dynamic or comfort and its fine. Doesnt sag and rides as it should.-Both rear seat belts have a tear in somehow due to my baby seats that were in there.
Overall a great car and a shame to scrap it when it could still be used. Every time I drove it recently its still a fantastic car. I have 2 keys for it. I have some previous service history and during my time I have done the service myself every year. Still got a valid MOT till november 2024. Bargin!
