This Audi TT, finished in electric blue has been a great workhorse for me while my main horse was getting repaired. Now not being driven and just awaiting its new owner.
The car is in good condition for its age, with only a few cosmetic imperfections—mainly some stone chips on the front and minor scratches. It recently passed a brand new MOT, which is valid until July 2025, so you can drive it away with confidence.
Mechanically, the car is solid. During my ownership, I’ve taken care of all the essential maintenance, including new brake pads and discs, oil changes, and addressing several known TT issues. I haven’t owned the car for long as I only bought it as a short term spare while my other car was getting fixed. During my ownership I installed a nice Android head unit which has Android Auto and Apple Carplay, boosts the audio a bit and has a reversing camera.
Addressed several known TT issues:
– Upgraded the cockpit bonnet catch release to a metal one so it doesn’t ever break again
– New ignition starter switch as it had a problem starting the head unit
– New driver door lock as the other one was worn
– New Earth for the rear brake lights as they were shorting (another known issue on the TTs)
– New battery
The car has also been polished and waxed. Comes from non-smoking owners. Starts and runs good with no signs of struggle, never had a problem with the engine and it pulls good. Car is currently SORN but will buy road tax to test drive it.
